Dear Reviewers,

The publishing industry has gone through a major shift in the last decade, moving in focus from print publications to e-publications on platforms like Amazon’s Kindle and Barnes and Noble’s Nook.

It’s time for us at The Wellesley Review to make such a shift as well. This is why we are focusing on revamping the website, completing our online archive, and having a regular social media presence. However, we do not want to lose sight of the goal this organisation began with – publishing high-quality print magazines.

In the last few years, we have had to cut our print order from 1200 magazines in 2015 to 600 in 2016, to even fewer in 2017 and 2018. This year, we want to print enough magazines for everyone to get a print copy. We want the effort our contributors put into making their art to be appreciated by as many people as possible.

In light of this, we are looking for patrons.

Patrons can support us in many ways. They can…

  1. Like our social media pages (Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter) and share our posts.
  2. Donate to us through Venmo (@jackie-xuan) with the comment ‘Patron’.
  3. Purchase our new The Wellesley Review stickers. (Coming soon!)
  4. Purchase Limited Edition The Wellesley Review posters, released to commemorate the publishing of our twentieth magazine last Spring! (Coming soon.)

Patrons who donate more than $25 to The Wellesley Review will be guaranteed a free print copy of the magazine and one free sticker, and will be invited to our fabulous Release Party to hear our contributors read their works into life! Additionally, their names will be printed in the magazine as a mark of our sincere gratitude.

Warmly, and with our thanks,
The Wellesley Review
